Hello!
Where to start? I am a mum to two adorable children who are 10 and 2. They certainly keep me busy! My daughter is a budding crafter and it's been really great to have her help on some projects and to share some tome together. Mostly we just create giggles and mess but sometimes we have some successful crafty moments!
I decided to start my little crafty business in March this year - I'm still a newborn really.
I've been a crafter for as long as I can remember - from cardmaking, scrapbooking and cross stitching to my many new ventures being explored - knitting, sewing and painting. I've loved trying new things and I think I will always be drawn to new shiney crafts - hence the name Random Loveliness. My items for sale will always be a random mix of crafty moments!
I also love creating new things from old. It's got the trendy new image of Up-Cycling now but I've always put it down to me being a hoarder and keeping everything in case it had a use some day! I'm grateful for my huge stash now believe me.
I love creating custom things for people. It somehow means more when I've got a person in mind - it helps keep me focused. I've had the opportunity to create some lovely things for people and the whole process is exciting for me. It's amazing to take a spark of inspiration from someone and let it run. Sometimes having a brief to work to such as a colour requirement really help me reign in the randomness and get started.
